Our HistoryRealReturns was formed in late 2004 by founding Directors, John Wilkinson and William Conolly-Carew, each of whom have significant experience in the European emerging property markets. 

Since then we have developed our business model to partner with local private equity providers undertaking short, medium and long term development and asset management projects.

At present we have development projects totaling €50million in value ongoing in Berlin, Budapest and Bansko in Bulgaria. These projects include two German residential property schemes, the €7.8M development of a luxury 50 apartment ApartHotel in Budapest, Hungary.

We currently act as Asset managers for Greenman Investments a specialist German Automotive Property fund which is acquiring a portfolio of up to €30million properties across Germany.

RealReturns, together with a number of private clients are launching Sirona Hotels, a unique Branded ApartHotel Operation, in the Spring of 2010.

Our Approach RealReturns search and identify property investment opportunities located in favorable areas within the EU and the recent EU accession states. We partner with the best legal, tax and construction experts to create and deliver safe, unique and accessible investment strategies for our Irish, UK and German investor clients. We work with each and every investor client to assess their investment appetite and offer impartial advice as to the best investment avenue for their particular situation. These may include:

Our People
John Wilkinson (Director)
John completed a MBS from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in 2001 and since then he has gained significant property investment and development experience in Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria the UK and Ireland. He is a founding director of RealReturns, Greenman Investments and Sirona ApartHotels. He is also on the board of directors of many private Investment Companies and Partnerships. William Conolly-Carew (Director)
Following a career in the London financial markets, William returned to Ireland in 2003 and developed a property investment and development business. William is working together with John on the development of the Sirona Hotels Apartment Hotel chain. As Director of IRTP (holdings) LTD he and his partners are developing a 17 acre Residential development in Jamaica.
